With a background in the building industry, he honed his skills in Australia as an owner operator of a commercial design and shopfitting company specialising in architecturally designed fit-outs. After years abroad, expanding his family through adoption and now a proud grandparent, he returned to New Zealand in 2024 to reconnect with his whānau.
