Forbes Nelson is part of the rural and lifestyle team at Bayleys Havelock North, working alongside Tony Rasmussen, who brings more than 18 years of experience in real estate.

Having grown up around rural Hawke’s Bay, Forbes has a strong connection to the region and an understanding of the people and communities that make up the rural sector.

Forbes spent the past eight years living and working in the United Kingdom, gaining valuable experience across a number of leadership roles. These roles strengthened his skills in managing people, communication, organisation and working with clients.

Since returning to Hawke’s Bay, Forbes has joined Bayleys and is focused on building his career in rural and lifestyle property alongside Tony and the wider Bayleys team.

Outside of real estate, Forbes enjoys horses, hunting and fishing, interests that keep him involved in the rural community and give him plenty in common with many of the people he works with.

Forbes takes a straightforward approach to real estate. He values good communication, getting to know his clients and their properties, and putting in the work required to get the job done properly. Backed by Tony’s experience and the wider Bayleys network, Forbes is building his business around long-term relationships throughout Hawke’s Bay.
